Michelin among the Top Ten in Europe for Digital Recruitment Ecosystem

The Potentialpark Online Talent Communication (OTaC) Rankings for 2016 have been published and they confirm Michelin’s reputation as one of Europe’s best companies for online recruitment.

Almost 24,000 respondents worldwide evaluated 832 companies, 147 of them European, and they placed Michelin in 8th position in Europe overall.

The Overall Ranking reflects employers’ performance across four categories.

In one of these, Mobile Talent Interaction, Michelin are in 1st position.

With our multi-platform strategy, including social networks, mobile and the careers website, Michelin is at the forefront of innovation in recruitment and this has been reflected in the 2016 OTaC survey.

These findings confirm what candidates have been telling us, that the process of applying online for a job with Michelin is clear, efficient and extremely user-friendly.

Commenting on Michelin’s performance Antoine Lhosmot, partner at Potentialpark, notes “Recruiters need to think mobile first. In 2013 companies felt they could afford to wait. Today, a company that does not think mobile first for employer communication is late. Michelin is at the forefront of the mobile revolution, topping our mobile ranking thanks to a full responsive website and an intuitive way to apply from A to Z on a smartphone.”

Michelin also came in 3rd in the Career Website category and 6th in Online Applications. 

The study, carried out by the influential Stockholm-based global market research agency, shows which employers are best at understanding talent needs and facing the challenges of the evolving communication behaviour of candidates.
