Michelin moves to the New Work City in Frankfurt.
With the official opening of the office in The Squaire in Frankfurt, Michelin sets the course for the future.

With 200 invited guests from business, politics and society, Michelin opened its new office at The Squaire at Frankfurt Airport on 28 June 2019. Anish K. Taneja, President of the Michelin Region Europe North, cut the ribbon and gave the go-ahead for the start of a new world of work. "Our goal is to serve the needs of our customers even faster and more efficiently and to create a state-of-the-art working environment for our employees. We chose The Squaire because the building offers an outstanding infrastructure for agile management of our Europe North region. The excellent transport infrastructure with long-distance train station, airport and motorway junction brings us even faster to our customers, business partners and international colleagues," says Taneja, explaining the choice of the new office.

"I was once invited to dinner with a customer. It was about a new fair, which should take place in the Allgäu, an agricultural show. And while we were discussing the event, he said to me: "If you come as a Michelin man, it's worth an extra order of tyres to me". "How many?," I asked. "About 40 to 50 additional agricultural tyres. I didn't have to be told twice and ordered the costume from our prop room that we have there for stock. During the agricultural show I stood the whole day in the costume and had fun with the children. It was incredibly hot in this thing, but time flew by and everyone had a lot of fun. And the customer? He paid his betting debts and actually placed the additional order!"
