MISSION :
To lead, coordinate, and ensure the effective implementation, monitoring, and continual improvement of the Environmental Health and Safety Management System (EHS) in compliance with corporate standards, legal requirements, and best international practices. The role serves as the lead auditor and internal controller for the system, ensuring robust governance, risk management, and operational excellence.
And for the role of Internal Controller is responsible for the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal control system part of EHS. Via his or her work, he or she will ensure that the Group’s Internal Control guidelines are rolled out and implemented. He or she will constantly ensure that the system is adequately organized to manage risks within his or her scope of responsibility. He or she is a driving force for the system’s development
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
- Serve as Lead Auditor for the Environmental Health and Safety Management System, planning, conducting, and reporting on internal audits in accordance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and company standards.
- Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of internal control systems for environmental and safety management within the defined scope.
- Internal control tests are carried out in the entities of the zone and allow a relevant analysis of the performance, ensuring full compliance and proper documentation.
- Maintain and continually improve the EHS Management System to meet legal requirements, corporate policies, and stakeholder expectations.
- Provide training, guidance, and coaching to employees to build competence and awareness in environmental and safety management.
- A regulatory oversight process is in place to implement the obligations of the entities in the area.
- Coordinate and support site teams in preparing for external audits, certification processes, and regulatory inspections.
- EHS Documents under control contribute to performance of the managed processes.
- The defined provisions for document control are consistent with Group and entity standards.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in environmental and/or safety management systems, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 (or equivalent qualification).
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Proven experience in audit, internal control systems, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple sites and functions.
- Fluency in English
