MISSION:

Maintain and improve Michelin delivery services through the management of our carriers to deliver on time, at the correct destination, the correct products at the correct cost, while ensuring a sustainable approach.

Key Expected Achievements - Within the purchasing framework:

  • Provides support for Export Planners for transport from Asia to both intra and inter zone
  • Deals with emergencies, find the transport solution to avoid the rupture of the Supply Chain
  • Ensures the performance of services under the conditions negotiated during calls for tenders
  • Applies the procurement strategy negotiated by DOSC (Compliance with the Procurement Plan)
  • Negotiates punctual transport and services by delegation from DOSC (Air, Maritime, Land transport + Terminal Handling Cost, etc.)
  • Validate or invalidate additional costs in collaboration with Export Planners (as per delegation)
  • Treats billing disputes, establishes and follows up on corrective action plan in collaboration with Contract Manager and Invoice Validation Team
  • Handles transport disputes, establishes and monitors corrective action plans in collaboration with Export Planners, Control Tower and DOSC
  • Participates in the creation or updating of the specifications of the evolution of information systems (Pilot made by Specialist Progress)
  • Animates the operational meetings with the shipping companies
  • Participating to Michelin projects in relation to Transportation Operation by testing and validating the functionalities of tools/systems/processes to allow us to successfully service our customers and work   efficiently

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in Export-Import, Logistics & Supply Chain operation and having customs regulations background
  • Strategic thinking, Logical & Analytical thinking, Problem solving, Sense of urgency and Self-awareness
  • Knowledge in Transportation Management
  • Fluent in English (Autonomy / Efficient) at least B2
  • Able to work under high pressure and challenging situations
