As the Key Account Manager Benelux, you will be the primary point of contact for several accounts, ensuring a successful commercial partnership and long-term business growth. Your role will require negotiation skills, tactical & strategic thinking, and the ability to steer operations in a fast-moving business environment.
You will drive commercial success by aligning our solutions (services, products, etc.) with the customer’s evolving needs while securing mutually beneficial agreements.
You will have the support of various professionals within our company (marketing operations, category management specialists) and will need to align these resources for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and industry developments to adapt and strengthen our positioning.
Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s operations, business strategy, and supply chain requirements.
Identify growth opportunities within the account and proactively propose tailored solutions.
Lead negotiations to secure contracts, pricing agreements, and business commitments that align with both the customer’s and our company’s objectives.
Ensure flawless execution of agreements and monitor performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Work closely with internal stakeholders (KAM Wholesales, Marketing, product development, supply chain) to optimize our service offer.
Develop and steer the Key-Account Plan of the customer, with accountability on the expected results.
Profile & Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years of profesionnal experience
Results-driven approach and the ability to manage complexity.
Resilience & ability to work under pressure especially during negotiation periods
Collaboration and Teamwork attitude, as member of a team of Key-Account Managers.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, capable of representing Michelin at client’s annual sales meeting & other key events.
Excellent knowlegde of English, Good knowledge of Dutch and French is an asset
Regular Business Trips are required (Travel up to 40%)
