THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a dynamic Promotions Manager that will create and lead our multi-brand promotional strategies to improve consumer engagement within the organization. This role works under the Pricing Director of the B2C Marketing organization. This position will be a part of an accelerated development program with a goal of positioning the new leader to gain experience and grow within the Marketing function.
Location: This position is based in Greenville, SC – close to beaches, mountains, and major cities like Atlanta and Charlotte.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Your focus will be driving sales through innovative promotional campaigns, pricing strategy and effective rebate management. Additionally, you will:
Develop and implement Value Promotional Strategies by building comprehensive promotion plans that align with company goals and brand ambitions.
Coordinate with the creative team to ensure brand messaging is consistent across all promotional channels.
Development and administration of rebate programs to incentivize customer purchases.
Analyze rebate performance and adjust strategies to optimize effectiveness.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
Use insights on promotional strategies and rebate offerings.
Keep an ongoing pulse of the competitive landscape.
Develop and run budgets for promotional activities, brand initiatives, and rebate programs.
Supervise expenditures and ensure alignment with financial goals.
Establish critical metrics to measure the success of promotional campaigns.
High exposure with key leaders and team members regarding strategic promotions and results.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
At least 7 years of demonstrating value based promotional strategies for key brands and/or portfolio.
Bachelors’ degree in a related field. (MBA a plus).
Proven record of leading cross functional collaboration and/or direct teams.
Data Driven approach to pricing by analyzing and interpreting information to identify significant trends or patterns and/or use data to build scenarios.
Excellent communication and leadership skills that enable you to craft compelling narratives that resonate internal partners and drives the business to make critical decisions.
The ideal candidate should have a strong marketing background and a keen understanding of how promotions can be used to achieve marketing objectives, enhance brand strategy, and support communication initiatives.
